Shartoya Jn Baptiste from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) is the winner of the 2012 Miss St. Lucia Most Talented Teen Pageant which took place this evening at the National Cultural Centre in Castries.
Pauline Francis from SALCC won the first runner-up position while Armani Mathurin from Vieux Fort SALCC won the second runner-up position.
Jn Baptiste won best talent, Mathurin collected awards for the best interview and best in evening wear awards, and Francis won the best speech award.
Leanndy Henry from SALCC won Miss Congeniality.
Virtue of the victory, Jn Baptiste will represent St. Lucia in the Miss Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant scheduled to be held in St. Kitts this December.
Jno Baptiste also won a tablet from Courts, spa treatment from Shawn’s Spa, and credit vouchers from d=Digicel.
Francis, the first runner-up, as part of her position, won a digital camera from Computer World, gift voucher from Tree Top Adventures and a credit voucher from Digicel.
Mathurin, virtue of her second runner-up position, also won a gift voucher from Tree Top Adventures and credit voucher from Digicel.
The contestants are scheduled to obtain prizes from other sponsors of the pageant.
Kerissa Osman from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC), Emlin Emery from Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School and Iyvanna David, past student of the Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School were the other participants in the pageant.
