Search for hit-and-run perpetrator; reward being offered

car3NOTICE – Good day to all. Today was not one of our better days. We are soliciting your help in locating and/or apprehending the person or persons responsible for this offensive act.

We woke up this morning to an unpleasant “early Christmas gift” of a “HIT and RUN” on our parked vehicle, which took place between 11:00 p.m. on the night of Friday 4th December, 2015 and 6:30 am on the morning of Saturday 5th December, 2015.

We are asking the person (s) responsible for this incident to contact us at the soonest and before 9:00 a.m. on the morning of Monday 7th December, 2015 so we can discuss the way forward.

In the meantime, a reward is being offered for any information which will result in location of, or apprehension of the person (s) responsible for this. All information will be handled in a confidential manner. Please share this information.

This is what we know:
• It is a red four (4) door (four-wheel drive) pick-up.
• It has white paint abrasions at the front from the impact with our vehicle.
• It has damage at the front and has a broken or is missing a number plate.
• It was in the La Clery area during the time of the incident.

We can be contacted at 720-8165.

  1. We don't have enough space for humans far less for cars. The driver is at fault for hitting the man's vehicle which was parked on the edge of the road. I wonder what the excuse would have been if it was someone hit on the side of a road with no sidewalk. ?

  3. What if the person has no car park by their home and that is the only place they can park closest to their home. The perpetrator could have been more careful because as u can see the driver of the kia is parked properly by the road. Some of us are not fortunate to have car parks at out home. Be mindful of that as well.

  4. I feel for you but if you notice.... you are parked on the street. And if the person turns themselves i they can be charged for fleeing the scene of an accident so i doubt they will.... Just being realistic so hope it works out for the best.

    • I agree sorry to say....the car is parked on the road and therefore becomes a traffic hazard...We need to learn to park appropriately in st.lucia...not saying that the person is right to hit and run but this could be avoided with PROPER PARKING

      • I know this area and have seen this car and others parked along side the road because the owners live there. As you can see in the photo there is no proper allocation for parking a vehicle along this road or many other residential areas. So one has no choice but to park like this. It is a residential area and the ministry has to make proper allocation for parking along the road side for residents. The same people who put laws in place don't make sure we break them.

        • "...the ministry has to make proper allocation for parking along the road side for residents?" This is unheard of! How about building a garage before you buy a vehicle.

          • its not just building a garage ...how about u renting and from the landlord and he did not provide a parking space
