PRESS RELEASE – In response to the global crisis of health epidemics, lawlessness, increased crimes, increased suicides, drug abuse, child abuse and many other ills, the Micoud District of Seventh Day Adventists will be conducting a family life enrichment seminar series beginning, Sunday, 17th August, 2014.

This series will held beneath the big yellow and blue tent on the “Old Micoud Playing Field” from 7:00 pm nightly.

The nightly seminars will be aimed at providing meaningful solutions that would help in curbing the many social ills and challenges which confront us at the individual, household, community and national levels.

The seminar series will be held under the theme: “A Time to Celebrate God’s Love” and will feature: Health Consultations, Intercessory Prayer, Spirit-filled Presentations and Gospel Music. Presentation will also be made by Doctors and Psychologists, among others.

The main resource person for this seminar series will be Vincent Emmanuel, Family Life Educator and Pastor. Pastor Emmanuel has over twenty five (25) years experience as a Lay Preacher and Religious Minister and is a very dynamic and knowledgeable presenter.

The seminars will be conducted nightly over an initial four (4) week period, with Thursdays observed as a rest nights.

Residents of Micoud village and the wider District as well as other southern communities are invited to attend and be part of what promises to be a spirit filled and life changing experience.

  1. It is a good gesture for the island on the whole. With our island on the brink of going in the direction, we need to hear about God's love for us more often so we can turn from our wicked ways. We need more prayer not more big houses.
St.Lucians at home / aboard need to stop worshipping material things and turn to our lord and savior. Then our lord will provide his children with their hearts desire.
    Lord please help us all.
