(PRESS RELEASE) – Regional Industrial Relations Specialists from the Bank of Nova Scotia have agreed to fly in to Saint Lucia to meet with officials from the National Workers Union (NWU) in mid November 2018.

The National Workers Union (NWU) has agreed to the suggested arrangements proposed by the Bank. However the union hopes that the said officials will come in fully prepared to deal with the Merit Increases due to workers and to complete industrial negotiations.

The NWU has since held meetings with Bank workers in Castries and Vieux Fort to apprise them of these developments.
