Scotia Bank supports artistic development in Babonneau

PRESS RELEASE – The National Arts Festival continues this weekend with the celebration of artists in the communities of Anse La Raye and Babonneau on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The community festival will showcase a variety of artistic portrayals from the community and environs.  This year, the Bank of Nova Scotia has taken particular interest in the community of Babonneau and is hopeful that its support will encourage artistic advancement within that community.

Bank representatives will be on hand at Sunday’s event to make a formal cheque presentation to the CDF as the two organisations work together to nurture cultural and artistic expression in communities around St. Lucia. The handing over ceremony is scheduled for 12 noon, which will be followed by an eclectic blend of drama, dance and music presentations, on the grounds of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

The Cultural Development Foundation cordially invites your media house to be part of this occasion as we work in harmony to create opportunities to develop our people one community at a time.
