  1. I am the proud mother of a daughter who will be attending Northeastern University, College of Engineering in Boston this fall. We live in Maryland, and did see the scholarship information for high school students in Florida. Please note that this is an opportunity that would have benefited her tremendously, as tuition to her university is $63,000 per year and even if she received $300. from the scholarship, that could have helped her with purchasing 1 book. This young lady will one day use her knowledge to work on the rebuilding/strengthening, the infrastructure of St. Lucia. Please respond, by informing me of resources that are available to assist St. Lucians and their dependents from the Maryland/DC/Virginia area. Do not refer me to the St. Lucia Consulate in Washington DC, because the front end staff are clueless, and never have an appropriate answer to "day to day" happenings that are beneficial to the island.
I strongly believe that some of those positions are attributed to social connections, as they typically are in St. Lucia.
I am the mother of 3 daughters of St. Lucian heritage. 1st daughter Biologist, 2nd daughter, Communication/Journalism, and now 3rd daughter into Civil and Environmental Engineering. Proud roots from Marchand/Foresttierre and Augier. Charles/Khodra
