PRESS RELEASE – The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) continues to enter into functional relationships with various Colleges in the Region.
To that end, the College has established a Memorandum of Understanding with Lycée des Métiers du Batiment de Balata (a secondary public school located in French Guiana, South America).
As a way of cementing the relationship between our two institutions, a group of three (3) staff and twelve (12) students from Lycée des Métiers du Batiment de Balata is expected to visit the College from Wednesday 15th April to Friday 17th April 2015.
The students, who are between the ages of 16 and 18 years, are enrolled in the areas of Applied Arts and Building Trades.
Select staff and groups of students from the Division of Technical Education and Management Studies will facilitate the activities for the group during their time on campus.
The College looks forward to welcoming the group.
