BARBADOS TODAY – LIAT flight attendant Deann Pat Portia Plummer, who has been charged with drug trafficking, was yesterday remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds for another week, after making her second court appearance.
Plummer, 33, who was last week denied bail on charges of possession, intent to supply, trafficking and importation of cocaine, and possession of cannabis, appeared at the District ”C” Magistrate Court.
Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch adjourned the matter until May 12.
The St Lucian national was arrested on April 26, after arriving at the Grantley Adams International Airport.
Customs officers had searched her handbag and found five kilogrammes (11 pounds) of cocaine.
A search warrant was subsequently executed at her apartment and police found 1.3 grammes of cannabis.
