As part of plans to modernise the local postal service, the Saint Lucia Postal Service has moved to introduce new postal codes for communities across the island.
For each community, there will be specific codes used by residents in order to receive mail.
The code will begin with the letters LC, which is the country’s postal code. This will be followed by a numeric sequence and the last two numbers will indicate the community.
Some 17 new delivery points have already been established to accommodate this new change, while previously used post offices will be used to introduce this new system.

Long overdue. I commend the Saint Lucia Postal service for their effort.
Saint Lucia must be getting bigger as we need post codes now for the Christmas.
Good sign of progress..... it will make the postal system more efficient but it will take a while (like a few years) for people to adapt to the new system.
this will take awhile to get used to and also to even be used bcuz a lot of people will still jus write out the address.
