BROOKLYN, NY – Champions Saint Lucia New York continued the defence of their title in the Caribbean Cup of New York football tournament Sunday with their second victory in as many matches.
The Saint Lucians recorded a 2-0 win over St Kitts-Nevis New York. The goal scorers were Elicius “Bone” Prospere of Dennery and Nazie Hipolyte of Canaries.
In their opening fixture, Saint Lucia opened the floodgates at the Jefferson High School field in Brooklyn, blanking Barbados 5-0 with two goals from Vernus Abbott and one each from Prospere, Germal Valcin and Daren Avril.
Saint Lucia’s next game is on June 23 against Guyana.
