Saint Lucia Football Association results of an action-packed weekend

The Saint Lucia Football Association  hosted the last match of the Premiere League Championships on Sunday, December  2, 2012 at the Vigie Playing Field (The SAB).

The match scheduled for the day was VSADC vs. Aux Lyons, which began at 3:30pm. VSADC walked away with the rights to be called champions after defeating their opponents 1-0.

The St. Lucia Football Association Promotional competition continued on the weekend with eight teams playing.  Survival played Orion at La Ressource Playing Field and won 1-0, Atlantic FC played Young Roots at Micoud Playing Field and drew 1-1, Young Generation played against Chesters at Grace Playing Field and drew 1-1. Agard FC played against Tros Piton and lost 2-1.

The St. Lucia Football Association Female Competition scheduled this past weekend with four matches. Vieux Fort North played against Dennery at 4 pm at the Grace Playing Field and won with an impressive goalscoring 6-0. South Castries played against Soufriere and defeated their opponents 2-1. Gros Islet played against Anse La Raye and drew 1-1. Mabouya played against Marchand and lost to their opponents 0-2.

The St. Lucia Football Association is thanking everyone for their continuous efforts and support of all the tournaments and encourages everyone to continue to work and support their teams and districts to assist in making football the number one sport on the island.
