PRESS RELEASE – On Thursday April 2, 2015, the Saint Lucia Culinary Team held their first practice session at Sandals Halcyon, Choc Bay.
The training is one of many activities being hosted by the SLHTA in preparation for the 2015 Taste of the Caribbean competition which will be held in Miami on June 12th to 14th 2015 at Hyatt Regency.
Taste of the Caribbean is an annual Culinary Competition, hosted by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association and is geared at discovering and developing hidden talents in the region and giving the chefs an opportunity to showcase their skills.
At a meeting with the chefs today, Mr. Azeez encouraged the team to put their best foot forward and work together, supporting each other to accomplish the desired results.
The team is determined to bring home more gold medals this year, and has assured the SLHTA’s CEO that they will do the best this year.
The Saint Lucia Culinary Team is being managed by renowned Chef Robby and Team Captain is Chef Reefer Leonce.
The next practice session is this Saturday at Sandals Halcyon from 9:00am.
