Saint Lucia chosen to hold ‘Introduction to Open Source Conference’

(PRESS RELEASE) — St. Lucia has been selected as one of the hosts for the yearly Introduction to Open Source workshops this time around.

Other countries chosen to host the event were Kumasi – Ghana, Udaipur- India and Baranquilla – Colombia. The event aims to educate the public on what Open Source means and its potential in business and in everyday life.

The event is targeted at:

* Individuals looking to start a business whether at home or an office
* Individuals already running their own businesses
* Business owners interested in cutting current and future operating costs of their businesses
* Freelancers
* Software Developers
* Students
* Any other interested persons (No background in business or IT required, event is open to all)
