(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Saint Blind Welfare Association (SLBWA) has this year been named as one of the major non-profit organizations that will be benefiting from a part donation of proceeds that will be derived from the Pine Hill Walk 2018.

Peter and Company Limited formally confirmed this philanthropic gesture at Friday’s press launch of one of the most highly subscribed promotional walks in recent times.

The popular annual Walk is slated to take place on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Speaking at today’s Press Launch the immediate past president of the Association.

Mr. Rodney Maxius registered the profound gratitude of the Blind Welfare Association to the management and staff of Peter and Company for their support at a time when the organization was struggling.

“They were one of the businesses that came right onboard to assist us so we are grateful for that.”

Mr. Maxius also made an appeal that assistance can also come in non-monetary forms, such as the hiring of the blind and visually impaired when job opportunities become available.

The press launch took place at the company’s offices at Peter and Company in Cul De Sac.
