RSLPF to host fun road relay

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force will host a road relay and street jam on Sunday, Oct. 5, in observance of Police Week 2014.

Four teams will compete for prizes: Team Red, Team Blue, Team Yellow and Team Green. Each team will consist of four males or four females. Each runner will run one lap around the city.

Lap One begins at the intersection of Bridge and Brazil streets and ends at the intersection of Brazil Street and Chausee Road. Lap Two will start at the intersection of Brazil Street and Chausee Road, and end at the intersection of Chausee Road and Jeremie Street.

Lap Three begins at the Chausee Road and Jeremie Street intersection, and ends at the intersection of Jeremie and Bridge streets. The final lap, Lap Four, will start at the intersection of Bridge and Jeremie streets, and end at the Bridge Street and Brazil Street intersection.

A prize-giving ceremony will be held in the William Peter Boulevard followed by the fund raising street jam. All proceeds go toward the Police Week Committee.

The road relay will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday. Both the relay and the street jam will take place within city limits.
