RSLPF authorises Lovefest 2012
Movado will be present at press conference this Friday.

Castries, St Lucia, December 5,2012 – The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has authorised the staging of Lovefest 2012.

Authorisation was granted after the event producer Hot FM Communications delivered on security stipulations for the hosting of mass crowd events.

Security and the general safety of patrons is a top priority for Hot FM heading into this weekend’s concert series.

Hot FM’s Chief Executive Officer Patrick Smith says organisers of Lovefest are pleased to have the authorisation of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.

“The police in Saint Lucia has always been an important partner for Hot FM in our annual staging of Lovefest. We have never had any issues with the police and this year we again delivered on their check-list which we view as very important. The police’s authorisation for the staging of Lovefest 2012 is evidence beyond the shadow of a doubt that Hot FM Communications delivers and we will again deliver on December 7,8 and 9,2012.”

Hot FM Communications has contracted a  private security team, including a senior police officer, who will be in full force at the event.

The security team is headed by Superintendent Monchery of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.

Smith says organisers have taken the necessary steps to guarantee the safety of thousands of local and visitors attending Lovefest 2012 at the Beausejour Stadium.

“Over the last 10 years Lovefest has become a popular events of choice for many Saint Lucians and people from neighbouring Martinique, and Hot FM Communications, cognizant of the popularity of the event, is very committed to the safety of our patrons. Unforeseen incidents can occur but as the organisers of Lovefest we want to ensure that the police are on hand to deal with any situation which may arise, effectively. Therefore patrons can be assured they will have a great time at Lovefest 2012 in a safe and secure environment.”

Meantime,the artistes for Lovefest 2012 begin arriving in Saint Lucia on Thursday, November 6, 2012 after which they will make organised media appearances.

Hot FM Communications will host a press conference on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Bay Gardens Hotel from 10 a.m.

Present at that press conference will be international recording artiste, Movado, security personnel and Hot FM’s management.
