PRESS RELEASE –
The Rotaract Club of St. Lucia, yesterday, December 20th 2014, embarked on a project in an effort of spreading the Christmas cheer to the elderly at The St. Lucy’s Home.

The project took place at 10:30am at the house’s location is Bishop’s Gap. Members of the club presented the home with much needed supplies such as toiletries and food supplies. Residents were also treated to Traditional Christmas Carols sang by the members themselves.

The Club chose this home because it believes that it is one that is usually forgotten, especially during the festive season. Members of the club felt that it was their responsibility to assist the home in experiencing the Christmas cheer this year. The idea was well received by the home who welcomed the club’s generous effort.

The Rotatact Club of St. Lucia is the youth arm of Rotary International, chartered on April 22nd 1985. It is a Community based non-profit Organization that fosters leadership and responsible citizens, also encouraging high ethical standards in business. It also promotes international understanding and peace as well as strives to build stronger communities within our country.
