PRESS RELEASE – Internationally acclaimed jazz musician Saint Lucian Ronald “Boo” Hinkson will be the featured headliner at the New York City Saint Lucia National Day Gala, organizers announced today.

The event, slated for Sunday, December 13, 2015, will be held at the Restoration Plaza, located at 1368 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, New York, beginning at 6PM.

Joining Boo will be Saint Lucia’s Minister for Commerce, Business Development, Investment, and Consumer Affairs Hon. Emma Hippolyte, who will deliver the keynote address. Ms. Hippolyte also serves as parliamentary representative for Gros-Islet, one of the island’s most popular tourist destinations.

The gala will include a charity raffle. First prize is a five-night stay at Saint Lucia’s luxurious Bay Gardens Hotel. Second prize is dinner for two at Saint Lucian-owned Brooklyn restaurant Suede.

Admission to the gala is $100. All proceeds will benefit a variety of worthy causes directly associated with the island of Saint Lucia.   1. Bad mouthing is not the what it is, its what you sow that you reap.
    Just ask any of the local seasoned artistes after so many years why they will not work with Boo.
    That is a can of worms that should be opened and St. Lucians should really know about.
    That is putting it bluntly.
