Rodney Bay bar destroyed by fire (+video)

The Happy Day Bar in Rodney, Gros Islet went up in flames early this morning, April 9, 2018.

The Fire Service received the call at 1:37 a.m.

Units from Gros Islet and Castries responded. However, the structure was completely destroyed.

There were no reports of injury.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but the incident is under investigation.

    The bar burn u can save the bar uhh? The owners must be well happy cuz they will get paid for a useless bar that destroy the lives of many people in excessive alcohol. But u can save urself from hell If u live n the fear of the Lord. I eh see nutting wrong with the Bible text. And the majority dislike it. We'll go and save the rum bar and doh save url selves the rum bar will save url.

That place gained momentum again, until new management decided to rid the two for one option, i completely understand that perhaps it is not a good method to ensure ends meet, but factoring the amount of bars offering that deal....on the way to happy day bar...it was a bad move...that place was always a great location with unimaginable potential. The seclusion was ideal to patrons as well...whether or not it has been plagued by the once in a blue incident people still came...it will be back...dont know when..but it will.
