2017-04-04-15_49_50-album-googlePRESS RELEASE – This song “Easy to Love You” is a “fine fusion of an old school ballad and a new sound. Its melody reverberates the sound of a romantic piano with a subtle acoustic guitar.

It was written and arranged by Robert Rene, mastered and mixed by Kenson Hippolyte of KLAB Studios. Robert Rene is a St Lucian writer, singer, entertainer and philanthropist. He was born and raised in a family friendly community of La Croix Maingot, and developed his passion for the arts in his young adult years. A passion born in a small classroom at the Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School, this young man is ready to let the world listen to his soulful tone and powerful lyrics.

Often compared to John Legend, Robert loves to allow the music to speak for itself. He loves acoustic instruments and how they sounds but doesn’t limit good music to these. He admits that he does love John Legend’s music, and while it’s an honor to be compared to John Legend, he wants to be the first Robert Rene and not the next John Legend. His cadre of favorite artist includes, Adele, Labrinth, Usher and James Arthur, just to name a few. He is a very versatile in the arts.

His gifts range from dancing, writing, poetry, acting, singing and playing cricket. He has written many Poems of which he has won Poetry Slams and featured on local Platforms such as Headphunk.

His goal is to write songs that would inspire us to search the deep abyss of our spirits and without fear or reservation release our hearts content. “If it is not genuine it won’t last, neither will it engender the type of change that one desires”. Be true to how you feel. If you are hurting, say so! If you are in love say so! If something makes you happy or unhappy, say so! His music promises to be inundated with passion and powerful lyrics.
