A seemingly dull and scrappy game throughout ended in a controversial last second drama. A low scoring output for both teams at the half had both teams tied at 29 apiece. Micoud led at the end of the third quarter with a narrow two point lead.
They maintained their slender lead through the fourth quarter and seemed to be grabbing their second win overall in tournament play with a 2-point lead and .18secs to go.
Lapses on both ends of the court cost Micoud the victory though when they allowed a two point field goal and fouled Shane Vitalis of the Lions who grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed free throw attempt to put him at the line with a chance to seal the win for the Lions.
He failed to convert the free throw attempt but controversy then struck when with virtually .1secs left off the game clock his missed free throw attempt was tapped in by Arthur Tisson to miraculously steal the win from Micoud.
Another offensive rebound hurting a disgruntled Micoud at the depth and costing them the win much to their dismay with a final score 66-64. The joint Computer Store player of the game was Arthur Tisson and Shane Vitalis for literally their last second heroics in the win for Bois D’Orange Lions.
