On Saturday Londonderry got the better of their neighbors Saltibus defeating them by 4 wickets in a low scoring encounter. Bating first, Saltibus were bowled out for 48 off 9.5 overs and then causing Londonderry to struggle to reach the target losing 6 wickets in the process.
In the second match Morn Sion scrap pasted Drivers wining them by 5 runs. Morn Sion batting first reached 102 in their 20 overs with former national player John Mathurin and Shervon Cooper taking 3 wickets each. In reply Drives, after being 63 for 2 in the 10th Over were bowled out for 97 losing by 5 runs.
On Sunday Drivers having a third time to qualify were once against denied by La Point in a low scoring match. In the first innings La Point found the going tough against some tight Drivers bowling and were bowled out for 82. Once again Drivers batting was awful and could only reached 78 for 8 off the 20 overs. La Point winning by 4 runs.
Teams are now paired for the Quarter Final round on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November.
Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Defending Champion Balca will come up against La Point, Umpires Dennis Pierre and Cesar De Coteau. At 2:00 p.m. Cafriere vs Morne Sion, Umpires John Mathurin and Crispian Jn Baptiste.
Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Dacretin will play Londonderry, Umpires Ted Itan and Eutropia Jolie and at2:00 p.m. Mongouge against Ebony; Umpires Felix Vaudroque and Norbert Cooper.
