RESULTS: Guardsman Northern Zone Under 14 Championship

football1PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Football Association in collaboration with the Gros Islet Football League continued the Guardsman Northern Zone Under 14 Championship on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April at the Grand Reviere Playing Field.

On Saturday 9th April two games were played with the 1st game featuring Big Players vs Fond Asson. At the end of the game Big Players won over Fond Asson 2-0. The 2nd game featured VSADC vs Lancers FC. At the end of the game VSADC won over Lancers FC 4-0 with goals from Simeon Francis, Khamisi Norville, Johnyke Lucien and Akil Gabriel.

On Sunday 10th April three games were played with the 1st game featuring First Touch/Pioneers vs Super J Boboville. The 1st half of the game ended 0-0. The 2nd half of the game saw First Touch taking the lead with a goal from Shyid Clauzel in the 52nd minutes ending the game 1-0 in favour of First Touch/Pioneers.

The 2nd game featured Super j Northern United vs Ti Valley. Super J Northern United took the lead in the 1st half with an own goal from Keven Sameson in the 25th minutes ending the first half 1-0. The 2nd half saw Ti Valley equalizing with a goal from Ethon Berlloss in the 40th minutes but another own goal from Keven Sameson of Ti Valley gave Super J Northern United the win at the end of the game 2-0.

The 3rd game featured GMC United vs Ciceron Seagulls. The 1st half of the game saw no goals ending 0-0. The 2nd half saw Ciceron Seagulls taking the lead with a goal from Alec Hippolyte in the 52nd minutes but GMC equalized with a goal from Ajan Lansiguot and another goal from Noa Lynch in the 60th minutes ending the game 2-1 in favour GMC United.

The Competition continues at the Grand Revierre Playing Field on Saturday 16th with three games featuring Super J Bobville vs Ti Valley at 11a.m., Valley Soccer vs Fond Asson at 1 p.m. and Lancers vs CT Foundation at 3.00 p.m.

On Sunday 17th three games will be played featuring B1 Juniors vs Ciceron Seagulls at 11. a.m. VSADC vs Reduit FC at 1.p.m. and GMC United vs Lancers at 3 p.m.
