RESULTS: Guardsman Northern Zone Under 14 Championship

football1PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Football Association in collaboration with the Gros Islet Football League continued the Guardsman Northern Zone Under 14 Championship on Saturday 30th April and Monday 2nd May at the Grand Reviere Playing Field.  

On Saturday 30th April three games were scheduled to be played with the 1st game featuring Big Players vs TI Valley. In the 1st half of the game T Valley took the led with an own goal from Akim Smith of Big Players in the 15th minutes ending the 1st half 1-0 in favour of T Valley.  The 2nd half saw Big Players equalizing with a goal from Adrian Vitalis in the 39th minutes ending the game 1-1.

The 2nd game featured GMC United s Flow Lancers. The 1st half of the game saw GMC United taking the lead with two goals from Mikel Castang in the 16th minutes and Noah Lynch in the 32nd minutes ending the first half 2-0.  The 2nd half saw another goal from Liam Bonnaire in the 53rd minutes ending the game 3-0 in favour of GMC United.

The 3rd game was featuring Fond Asson vs First Touch/Pioneers. Due to Fond Asson not showing up for the game First Touch/Pioneers won by default.

On Monday 2nd May one game was played featuring GMC United vs VSADC. The 1st half saw GMC United taking the lead with a goal from Noah Lynch in the 20th minutes ending  the 1st half 1-0.  The 2nd half saw another goal for GMC United from Jeremiah Justin ending the game 2-0 in favour of GMC United.

Following the status of the Teams the two Semi-finals will be held on Saturday 14th May at the Grand Reviere Playing Field with the 1st game at 2.00 p.m. and the 2nd game at 4.00 p.m.
