RESULTS: FA Fantasy Inter-District Champions League 2016

PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Football Association continued its final round 16 of the FA Fantasy Inter-

District Champions League at the Micoud Playing Field on Saturday 26th March with two games featuring Mabouya Valley AS-Monaco FC vs Laborie – FC BASEL 1893 and Soufriere – Bayern Munchen vs Canaries – Bayer Leverkusen.

The 1st game saw Laborie – FC BASEL 1893 taking the lead in the 1st half with a goal from Lee Avril in the 22nd minutes ending the 1st half 1-0. No more goals were scored in the 2nd half giving Laborie – FC BASEL 1893 the win over Mabouya Valley AS-Monaco FC 1-0.

The 2nd game featured Soufriere – Bayern Munchen vs Canaries – Bayer Leverkusen.  The game ended 0-0 and went into Penalties.  At the end of the game Canaries – Bayer Leverkusen won on Penalties over Soufriere – Bayern Munchen 3-2.

The FA Fantasy Inter-District Champions competition now goes into the Quarter Finals Stage with 4 games.  The 1st Quarter Finals will be played on Saturday 2nd April at the Sab Playing Field at Vigie featuring Marchand ATLETICO vs La Clery FC PORTO at 4.00 p.m.

The Following 3 games will be played at the Vieux Fort Playing Field featuring Laborie FC Basel 1893 vs Choiseul Barcelona followed by Vieux Fort North Arsenal vs Canarie Bayer Leverkusen and Dennery Chelsea vs Micoud SHAKHAR DONETSK.

The 1st games will start at the Vieux Fort Playing Field at 4.00 p.m. followed by the 2nd game at 6.00 p.m. and the 3rd Final Quarter Final game at 8.00 p.m.

The Saint Lucia Football Association invites everyone to support the District Teams in this exciting Competition.
