Oswaldo Prospere, who is charged with the homicide of Critchlan James AKA Suram, has been remanded in custody at Bordelais Correctional Facility until Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 when he is scheduled to re-appear in court for case management review.
Prospere, 24, a resident of Barnard Hill, appeared in court for the first time yesterday, Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, on a charge of intentionally causing the death of James, 28, of Faux A Chaud on Sunday, December 23, 2012 near the Castries Market at 12:30 a.m.
James sustained several gunshot wounds whilst standing in the vicinity of Block S5 of the CDC, at the intersection of lower Darling Road and Jeremie Street, Castries. He was pronounced dead at Victoria Hospital.
James was the 44th and final homicide victim of 2012.
