PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Youth Business Trust in conjunction with the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is offering to small enterprises on the island “Principles of Financial Accounting.”
This course seeks to provide critical business management skills and knowledge to small enterprises. The program, through a series of practical guidance workshops delivered by practicing professionals and experts delivers the skills that participants can apply immediately in their business.
The objective is to help SMEs in an effective, high impact, low cost manner operate more profitably and efficiently. Facilitators, mostly owners and operators of SME’s themselves, are all charging extremely low fees to ensure that the key skills and knowledge being offered through the development series remains within the reach of all SME’s on the island. This, they believe, will help SMEs grow and so impact positively on the employment situation and the wider economy.
The course will be facilitated by Mr. Benjamin Menald, a consultant with over 30 years extensive experience in financial planning analysis, strategic planning and costing and pricing and Accounting.
The course will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 1st to July 15th, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The venue is the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture’s Conference Room, on the 1st floor of the American Drywall Building, Vide Boutielle, Castries.
