  1. Use your brain please be informed that Petro Caribe does not afford us "cheaper fuel" like you claimed. We pay a percentage of the cost upfront but its the same market value prices with US Suppliers. The balance is paid back as a 25 year loan at 1 percent interest.(Offcourse there is the evident benifit but its not cheaper fuel.Hope you werent conviently trying to mislead with your claims.

  2. It is understandable that he is going to the funeral, because he and Chavez were very good friends. But where is Moses Jn Baptiste going?

I hope they are paying for the trips out of their pocket 🙂

  3. Hama if you used your brain and new anything about economics, the Prime Minister is attending the funeral in Venezuela because of our direct ties to the Petro Caribe Agreement, which decreases costs for us with cheaper fuel, thus freeing up St. Lucia's spending a bit. Secondly he is going to Canada, because if you did your research you would know that the diaspora there is responsible for sending LOTS of money home, to their families and making contributions to OUR St. Lucia economy. The Prime Minister still has a country to RUN!

    • Not that I am in that politics thing but what crisis!!? we to damn spoilt and happy in this country and the man went to pay his respect to another leader like himself and then go to Canada to see the diaspora (Lucians living overseas), so whats wrong with that..., we to selfish in this place and yes this comes with his title, any leader has the right to do it. What you want him to do stay in lucia to hear most civil servants be ignorant and selfish, while the private sector that well need a 2% increase don't have a voice..... chewps ton!!
