Prime Minister Dr. Kenny D. Anthony yesterday was scheduled to hold two important meetings in the wake of the damage caused by the trough experienced on Christmas Eve.

The prime minister was to chair a meeting of the Cabinet to receive an update on the damage caused to the island and to review the efforts to return normalcy to the island.

Following the Cabinet meeting, the prime minister, along with other senior government officials, was scheduled to brieg and update the leader of the Opposition on the situation and the plans to respond to the damage unleashed by the heavy rains and the flooding which occurred.

  1. How about some "real" news. What is the status of road repairs, is Hewanorra fully funcional, what is the best road to Castries from Hewanorra, and what is the extent of damage North of Castries, ie in Rodney Bay?
