Prime Minister Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, accompanied by Mexican Ambassador to Saint Lucia Edmundo Font Lopez, will tour the Saint Jude’s Hospital today, Friday, March 15, 2013.
The purpose of the visit is to explore possible areas of cooperation between the governments of Mexico and Saint Lucia.
The government of Saint Lucia is keen to secure assistance to complete and operationalize the southern medical facility.
The visit will also provide the prime minister with an updated status of construction works at the hospital.
The prime minister is anxious that the rebuilding of Saint Jude’s Hospital is completed within this calendar year.
