Prices for kerosene and LPG cylinders increase

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Public is hereby notified that in keeping with changes in international oil prices and Government’s application of the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism, the retail price of gasoline (unleaded) and diesel remains unchanged.

The retail price of LPG 20, 22, and 100 lb cylinders and kerosene have been changed. The price changes take effect Monday June 25, 2018:

* Gasoline remains unchanged at $3.07 per litre or $13.95 per gallon
* Diesel remains unchanged at $3.07 per litre or $13.95 per gallon

* 20 Pound Cylinder (9.07 kg) increased from $32.96 to $34.87 per cylinder
* 22 Pound Cylinder (9.98 kg) increased from $36.53 to $38.63 per cylinder
* 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36kg) increased from $208.66 to $227.74 per cylinder
* Kerosene increased from $1.88 to $1.99 per litre or $8.52 to $9.04 per gallon

The Public is informed that the retail prices of fuel products will be next adjusted on Monday July 16, 2018.

  1. 100 is 5 times 20. You would think that purchasing a 100 pound cylinder of gas should result in a saving. That has not been so and many people have given up the 100 pound cylinder in favour of the 20 pound for cost and ease of obtaining the supply. Now you even have delivery fee of ten dollars. It gets even more ridiculous. The price of the gas went up today. The 20 pound one went up by about two dollars. The 100 pound went up by twenty dollars. 5 times 2 equals ten. Somebody should explain the rationale for the difference in that pricing.


  2. Funny Stuff. Anybody interested in a "Maroon March" against the Bull Crap happening in this country. This government need to understand that we are the ones that make decisions to put or remove them. They are employees of the people of this country and we will not take any crap that we do not deserve as a nation. It is high time that we stop taking crap from this dictator who believes that he can just go about doing things that only benefits his friends in high positions while poor people in this country continue to suffer.
