PRESS RELEASE: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workshop

Habits are powerful forces in our lives.

They determine our level of effectiveness or ineffectiveness. The purpose of The 7 Habits is to help persons lead their life in a truly effective way. They represent a proven process of personal and interpersonal growth that can have an immediate and lasting impact.

On Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th July 2017, Celestial Self Development Centre for the first time in Saint Lucia will be hosting The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: [Signature Edition 4.0] 2-day work session from 9:00am to 5:00pm, on both days, at the Bay Gardens Inn in Rodney Bay.

Based on the proven principles found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s best-selling business book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; this training helps organizations achieve sustained superior results by focusing on making individuals and leaders more effective. Participants gain hands-on experience, applying timeless principles that yield greater productivity, improved communication, strengthened relationships, increased influence, and laser-like focus on critical priorities.

Our program is designed for upcoming and new Managers, Supervisors and current Leaders in any organization looking to achieve self-mastery and success in work and life.

This masterpiece addresses how people live and work today. The 7 Habits work session addresses core competencies such as; Self-awareness, Self-mastery, Empathy, Effective Communication, Relationship Management, Life Balance, Integrity, Trust, Listening, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Goal Setting, Valuing Differences, Innovation, and Priority Setting.

The program will be co-facilitated by Ms. Thecla Deterville, licensed FranklinCovey Facilitator, East Caribbean and Ms. Dianne Mae-Burgess, 7 Habits FranklinCovey Facilitator, Bermuda.

  1. Corveyism has a lot to teach each and every one of us --- at a very personal level, and at the managerial level. You do not have to be called a manager of the game of life --- except of yourself to qualify. You are a manager already.

As a student of Corvey, but only through reading his work, the experience has been life-changing. There is a USA group that is spearheading the thrust to put his ideas to work. Many captains of industry there have benefited.

A page-turner of sorts for would-be managers, efforts and resources used to adapt the management philosophies and techniques are worth every penny. Therefore, it is just plain wonderful that this has finally come to our shores. It is not "fly-by-night" gimmicky, or just flavour of the month. See, hear, and how to make the difference at work. Stand up and stand out, Saint Lucia.
