The industrial impasse between the Management of Ti Kaye Hotel and the National Workers Union (NWU) has been settled.
The company officials and representatives from the union met at the Union’s Conference Room Wednesday morning August 2, 2017.
In a spirit of give and take and compromise, the company has accepted the NWU’s salary adjustment which brings an end to negotiations between the parties.
The union in return gave the commitment to work with the company so as to avoid any recurrences of the brief industrial stand -off.
The parties also agreed to mutual engagement that would determine lay off, rotation and redundancies.
The new industrial agreement will be signed shortly.
