In an exciting and exhilarating atmosphere, Rock Hall took on the challenge of Pavee with both having suffered defeat in their previous encounters.
Pavee was once a powerhouse in Marchand football and Rock Hall was trying to assert themselves.
The game started with Pavee taking the initiative, but Rock Hall would have none of it and got a goal first through Sherwin Charlemagne in the 35th minute.
The second half started with Pavee coming out with dominance and got a goal back, through Dwanye Raggie.
Rock Hall were not willing to roll over and play dead and stepped up and got the winner through prolific play from the man of the match Sherwin Charlemagne, enabling Cherpaul Toussine to score the winner in the 88th minute.
The games continue on Tuesday with National Premier League giants Big Players taking on the challenge of Lacoudou at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, July 4, Big Players Youth played Bagatelle in a keenly contested game.
Bagatelle, who have not seemed to recover from their defeat at the hands of B1 FC in the finals of the promotional league, were on the back foot from early, with the Youth leading the way 2-0.
The game came to a premature end in the 85th minute with the Youth team leading 2-0.
The games continued on Wednesday, July 5 with B1 FC challenging Toughest SC.
The game was keenly contested with a cat and mouse challenge as B1 took the lead through Andrus Remy, and Maradona Joseph equalling the score.
Jeff Florenville then made it 2-1 in favour of Toughest SC. Remy recorded his second goal of the game to send the teams leveled at 2-2 at the half.
Both teams came out looking for the winner but that day belonged to B1 FC who found the winner through Lamar George thus giving B1 all three points.
For his effort, Remy was awarded the man of the match.
