The Saint Lucia Archaeological and Historical Society will be holding an Emancipation Day Lecture on Monday July 31, 2017 at the Central Library from 7:00 p.m.
The theme of the lecture will center around “Emancipation and the Law”. The guest speaker will be Miss Lorraine Debra Glace, a lawyer.
The lecture and discussion to follow will explore amongst other things, the demystification of the law and how it can be used to empower oneself. Also the importance of constitution reform in self-empowerment, development and emancipation.
The Public is invited to attend this important event.
