Kai Manje restaurant at the boutique locally owned and operated Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, located on the West Coast above Anse Cochon in Saint Lucia has once again received the Wine Spectator ‘Best of Award of Excellence’.
Awarded for both wine and culinary excellence it is a prestigious award with only 10 restaurants in the entire Caribbean having received this level of award in 2017, and Kai Manje being the only restaurant in Saint Lucia and the Windward Islands.
“We are honoured to receive our 3rd consecutive ‘Best of Award of Excellence’ from Wine Spectator. It’s another fantastic achievement that can only be done with continued involvement from the whole team here at Ti Kaye”, commented Resort General Manager Sarah Watts. She continued, “Executive Chef Denis has lead the culinary team here for 2 years and has managed to evolve our menus whilst still adhering to Ti Kaye’s ethics of using local ingredients wherever possible.
We will as always continue to enhance our culinary and beverage programs to incorporate the essence of Saint Lucia. Recently we introduced our rum tasting program with 36 Caribbean rums, along with our weekly 7 course Creole tasting menu.
Of course we run these alongside our well known underground ‘Ti Kave’ wine tastings and 5 course Schramsberg wine paired dinners”.
