Bethel says the city of Castries will experience an event like never before as Christians march for “Repossessing the land for the Kingdom” and a “Rebirth of the nation”, which are the themes for the Praise March.
“This is the vision of Bishop Emmanuel McLorren of the Bethel Tabernacle Church. This man of God for many years has preached, prayed and declared a turnaround in our society,” a statement said.
“He has always declared that through prayer and intercession that St. Lucia shall be delivered from the immoralities, crime and violence that are being experienced especially at this time.
“On the birthday of this country, celebrated as National Day, Bishop McLorren believes that this is the opportune time to bring the nation together in prayer. This is with the belief that prayer changes situations and putting God in control once more that there will be positive transformation.”
St Lucians are invited to join the Praise March which has significance in the colours that will be worn on that day. T-Shirts representing the sections of this march are being sold at Bethel Tabernacle’s office.
The march will commence at 1:00 pm outside the Vigie Sports Complex.
