Police seeks public help to capture Bordelais escapee Markin Marquis

(NOTICE) — The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Markin Marquis, alias Road Block, of Grande Ravine, Dennery (also known to have resided in Vieux Fort and Victoria, Choiseul).

Marquis, was a prisoner on remand at the Bordelais Correctional Facility, after being charged for causing the death of Lyndon George in Bruceville, Vieux Fort.

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, Marquis escaped lawful custody, after an assault upon a correctional officer.

Distinguishing features: Facial tattoos including teardrops on the left side of his face.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest police station immediately.

The public is advised to refrain from approaching Marquis if seen.
