Police host successful town hall meeting in Micoud

PRESS RELEASE – The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force hosted it’s “Meet the Commissioner” town hall meeting at the Desruisseaux Combined School on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

The meeting was received with appreciation by the residents of Desruisseaux and surrounding areas. Residents had the opportunity to make contributions to the Acting Police Commissioner Errol Alexander and other Executive members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. Issues brought to the attention of the police included “burglary”, “customer service” “police response time” and “use of force”.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force expresses gratitude to the residents for attending the meeting and would like to ensure them that that their concerns will be addressed.

The date and venue for the next “Meet the Commissioner” town hall meeting will be announced at a later date.

  1. TOWN HALL MEETINGS WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR:
    Absolutely everything I wish the turnout was larger however it is a good gesture for authorities to meet with the public at large it makes good for public relations, I would like to thank all the officers at all rank level that generously gave their time and made an effort to attend
    An ounce of prevention is better than a whole pound of cure, you are starting off right commissioner keep up the good work and unite my peoples.
