PRESS RELEASE – On Wednesday, October 14, 2015 police destroyed one hundred and seventy six (176) blocks of cocaine valued at EC$ 2,895,000.00.

The narcotics were discovered on Saturday, September 26, 2015 during an operation conducted by police in the Point de Caye (Honeymoon Beach) area in Vieux Fort.

The illegal substance was set ablaze until completely destroyed.

No one was arrested during the operation.

  1. I don't buy this story for one minute....how about inviting a few members of the public to witness these events... That's like literally watching that amount of cash go up in flames in this guava season..

  2. I will not venture into saying that i don't believe that they destroyed the cocaine. However are we supposed to assume that any drugs which are not in future reported as destroyed police are not in fact destroyed? Because if you are reporting here that you destroyed drugs then we should be getting future reports anytime there is a bust.
