On July 4, 2013, the region celebrated the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) under the theme, “Forty years of Integration: Celebration and Renewal”.

To mark this milestone, Prime Minister Dr. Kenny D. Anthony will deliver a message to the nation on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 8 pm.

In addition, the Office of the Prime Minister will host a Parade of Flags Ceremony to be held at the Derek Walcott Square, on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 10 am.

In attendance will be Governor General of Saint Lucia, Dame Pearlette Louisy, and Acting Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre.

All members of the public are invited to be part of this special celebration as we recognize our successes and renew our efforts to continue to advance our common interests as a region.
