Early morning rains also caused havoc on sections of Fond Gens Libre, a small community in Soufriere at the foothills of the Gros Piton. Reports are that at about 9:30, heavy rains damaged the Union Vale bridge, similar to what happened during Hurricane Tomas. See photos below.
