  1. OK PEEPS THE MORE I LOOK AT THIS PICTURE THE MORE I AM CONFUSED.......HELP ME OUT HERE.

Lets play a little csi here even though we are no accident reconstruction specialist. If i know St.lucia and indeed some of you will know better than me the car is on the north bound lane right!! as in heading towards Castries ok
Yet if you look at what i "assume" to be the accident vehicle`s skid marks ending at the guard rail they would seem to originate from the south bound lane???

    I LOVE THIS
So here is what i think happened, the car lost control heading south just before entering the bend doing a partial 360 spin in the process ending up facing in the opposite direction of his travel.
    STAY WITH ME HERE
Now the bus which was heading north saw what was happening as he came round the corner and stopped just as the car spun into the bus. I say he was stopped because there is no skid marks from the bus indicating that he was already stopped when hit.

OK START VOTING AM I RIGHT OR WRONG....IF I AM MORE RIGHT THAN WRONG YOU HAVE TO VOTE THUMBS UP.LOL

    • Kal,

You are correct, in that the car is heading north, but the skid marks aren't from that car. They don't line up at all. I've tried to imagine those marks belonging to the car, but I just can't see it. If the car was heading south and hit the guardrail, there would be a lot more damage to the right front, which would have hit the guardrail first, then spin around. Also, if the car was headed south and hit the guardrail and spun around, there would have marks from the rear tyres too, because the back would have to drag/spin around to end up in the position it's in.

  2. Wow thanks God for those guardrails. Hope the government invest in more of these guardrails and place them.

  3. These Taxi drivers and bus drivers are becoming an issue. The authorities should start revoking their drivers license.

  4. People/commentators....observe how soft these cars are made...there is no way that car would have been moving so quickly....UPHILL i might add to inflict so much frontal damage...the cars they make these days and send them for us...its poor..

  5. it looks more like the small car came downhill on the Taxi side and went into the barrier. (based on the skidmarks on the road)
    but its just a guess.
