  1. can't keep putting fertilisers, plastics and crap in the ocean. This is what happens.

It occurs naturally but pollution makes it worse. Think about it next time you litter. Also before it can be used as compost it needs to be washed heavily to get rid of the salt or will dry the soil.

  3. Yes when it entiles thinking and hard work we never seem to get the right advise or assistance with such issues . You think the Ministries responsible can't find a solution to this problem . Why not take in inland mix with soil use as a pesticide or even fertilizer ? Is that possible ? I am sure there must be some use for it !

  5. With this heavy drought situation we are experiencing the minister of agriculture añd fisheries and his ministry should be doing a lot more to assist an encourage farmers use the sea weed as a mulch so as to conserve moisture.the world move is towards organic farming.so lets go for it.instead of wasting money making unnecessary trips and opining embassy in Taiwan iet them use the funds to provide someone expertise in this area which Will provide some well needed relief to the community.

  7. Very sad picture. It appears the seaweed is out of control. I can just imagine the stench coming from that area. I wish the community luck in getting over this hardship.
