Philippe Bourgade, one of Martinique’s top visual artists will be arriving in St. Lucia on Friday, Oct 11 to give a press presentation of his works exposed, which have travelled North & South America, Europe and the Caribbean.

This exhibition entitled “Martinique des mornes” pays tribute to the Kwèyol heritage through a series of pictures taken of the traditional life of Martinique for more than 30 years.

This is a fabulous opportunity to explore the common culture between St Lucia and Martinique. The presentation will take place on Saturday morning at 11 am around the staircase of the escalator downstairs the Blue Coral Mall, where his works have been exposed for the past week.

This will be the final opportunity for Saint Lucians to view the exhibition in St. Lucia and to meet the artist, as the exhibition closes on Monday 14.
