  1. Even when the SLP was in power, it could not attract the calibre of people to help it design a proper relevant budget. Now in opposition, do you think that without the acumen, knowledge and the skills that they did not have before, that they will suddenly acquired those in these short months? Responding intelligently is an even more tasking job than presenting a budget? SLP never had it within their ranks back then, and even far less now.

These en rouge manipulators are just politicians. Party politics comes first, training and development is ranked a distant 20 or 30 on their list of priorities.

98% of them stopped learning a long time ago. The world has passed them by.

That is why these yesteryear students regurgitate their A' Level knowledge from their schooldays as if that has the greatest relevance today. These blokes should do stand-up comedy. Their circus just keeps rolling along.

  2. The surprise for me is Dominic Fedee. Gave a good account of himself. Poor Pip. He will now know not to tangle with Fedee. Pip sat speechless and sheepish.

  3. Just political gimmick! Nothing changes, the country suffers as usual at the hands of incompetent leaders. Let be realistic here; do you really believe St. Lucia can move forward with the caliber of individuals we have managing the affairs of this island? I think not!

  4. I don't know why St Lucians love misery whenever the Labour Party is power.

  5. Why didn't you all tell us when Alva will be speaking. i don't want hear Earnest. Is that a plot against the south?

    • Hon.Pierre please open your responds with following lines:-
Yes!!! This is a Masturbating Budget, Madame Speaker I see you look at me in dismay.! Yes Madame Speaker, this budget is all about the Minister Of Finance self Gratification spewing sperm that can not Germinate and therefore is dead on arrival…. ????

  6. What is there to respond to? We are scratching as a country and had no monies allotted to us for over a year because of his own incompetence and that of his former cabinet colleagues whilst still in office. And up pops the present PM to solve that deficiency ... but now he (PJ Pierre) has to respond. Do ministers of the last administration have any shame? Do they know the opportune moment NOT to talk, particularly when both the egg & pie will land right back in their faces??? I don't think so!!!!

I think it should be the job of one of their (UWP)representatives to explain the impact the budget will have on our lives...likewise in the previous gov't,u should be the one to come explain the impact..but no,instead you sat on your high ? horse and allowed SLP to lead the country astray and now u ready to criticize.shouldn't u allow for it to take course avuh ou batt khou.
