(PRESS RELEASE) – Scores of NWU members’ children in the southern part of the country were treated to a well organized Christmas Party on Sunday December 15, 2019 at the Vieux Fort Primary School.

The children ate and drank, played a variety of games and danced to popular Hi Fi Music. Santa Claus made his grand entrance at about 4:00 p.m. during which he was chanted down. As was expected he delivered gifts to all of the children present.

Parents who accompanied their children were pleased with the social event and the Women’s Council wishes to thank Hon. Gale Rigobert, Minister for Education and Mr. Francis Moonie, Principal of the Vieux Fort Primary School for the use of the premises as a last minute request.
