NWU to meet with ICON management to discuss company’s future

The management of ICON Distributors Limited, formerly referred to as SINGER, and officials from the National Workers Union (NWU) will on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 discuss the future of the company at a meeting at the Bay Gardens Hotel, Rodney Bay, commencing from 9:30 a.m.

ICON Distributors Ltd will provide the NWU with detailed and concrete information pertaining to a purchase deal arrangement with another company.

The NWU in return will negotiate an overall compensation package that will incorporate length of service, annual vacation, notice pay and any other outstanding claims on behalf of the employees.

The NWU wishes to express its full appreciation for the open and honest manner in which the company and the NWU will sign an industrial compensation package on behalf of some 37 employees.
