Over 70 agents, supervisors and security personnel will benefit from the recently concluded industrial package.
As of April 2013 employees will be working within a restructured pay schedule that takes into consideration workers attitude, performance and productivity.
The new agreement, which will run for a period of three years, also provides a regime of fringe benefits and elements that would dictate overall improvements in working conditions and disciplines.
The agreement, which will be the first between the NWU and the security sector, will be used as a model for upcoming negotiations between the NWU and other security companies. It is expected that the new agreement will be signed shortly.
The NWU has extended an invitation to the other security companies it represents to be present at the official signing.
