NWU and Goddard Catering Group reach agreement

PRESS RELEASE – The Management of Goddard Catering Group Ltd and representatives from the National Workers Union (NWU) met at the Board Room of the St. Lucia Employers’ Federation Friday July 3, 2015.

During the session, the parties discussed a thirteen (13) point Memorandum of Proposals submitted by the NWU on behalf of workers employed with the company.

Agreement has been reached on some of the clauses. The parties have agreed to use salary adjustments as a mechanism for awarding an incentive to workers who have performed reasonably. The industrial package when completed will run for a period of three (3) years.

Meanwhile, talks between the Management of SLASPA and the National Workers Union on the future of St. Lucia Marine Terminals Ltd began today July 3, 2015.
